Liquid Chromatography: 

 

TraceDec® contactless conductivity detection in combination with chromatgraphy represents a sensitive detection scheme for various groups of analytes, including inorganic and small organic ions, amino acids and others.

The excellent performance of the TraceDec® conductivity detector is of significance

when performing micro and nano ion chromatography, as detection volumes in the

order of pico liters.

 

Ion Chromatography:

For ion chromatographic (IC) purposes the detector can be easily placed after the suppressor using a PEEK® tube with an appropriate outer diameter. This offers the advantage of avoiding detection dead volumes which is of specific importance for miniaturized chromatographic systems. 

 

 

 

  

For IC purposes, a PEEK capillary with an outer diameter of 800 µm is used. The detector is placed after the suppressor (suppressed mode) or the IC column (non-suppressed mode).
